About Our Concrete Work in Laguna Niguel

We pour driveways, patios, pool decks and walkways for homeowners across Laguna Niguel. We also spend real time on the part many contractors skip: explaining what goes into the slab. You hear the options, the trade-offs and what each one takes to maintain before anything gets ordered.

A concrete company that starts with the mix

We have been in business 15+ years. Much of that time has been spent at the edge of someone's yard explaining why two slabs that look the same on day one can age so differently. The answer is usually in the materials: the mix strength, the reinforcement, the base underneath and the finish on top. So that is where our conversations start.

A plain broom finish is affordable and grips well when wet, which is why we often suggest it for driveways and side yards. Stamped concrete gives a patio the look of stone or slate, but it needs its sealer refreshed every few years and can get slick around a pool. Exposed aggregate hides tire marks and wear and gives good traction. Integral color runs all the way through the slab, while a color hardener gives deeper tones at the surface. None of these is right for everyone, and we would rather lay them side by side than push the priciest one.

We are licensed by the California State License Board (CSLB), and the work we finish comes with a 1-year warranty. Those two things set a floor. What we hope you notice more is that you never have to guess what is going into the concrete at your home, or why we picked it.

How we run a job

Samples and plain answers

Before you decide, we show you finishes and colors and explain how each holds up to sun, foot traffic and water. If a less expensive option suits the job just as well, we tell you.

The base gets as much attention as the surface

Many cracks start below the slab. We check drainage and soil, compact the base, and choose rebar or wire mesh based on the load the slab will carry. A driveway that holds a truck needs different reinforcement than a garden path.

Line-item written estimates

Your estimate lists demolition, base prep, reinforcement, the mix, the finish and any sealer separately. You can see what moves the price and where one material could be traded for another.

A tidy site from start to finish

We protect planting beds, walls and nearby hardscape, keep the work area clean and haul off forms and debris after the pour. Before we leave, we tell you how long to stay off the new surface and when it should first be sealed.

Where we pour

We work at homes throughout Laguna Niguel and nearby Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Las Flores and Lake Forest. Plenty of lots around here slope or sit on clay soil that swells when wet, so we plan joints, drainage and reinforcement with that in mind. Our Service Areas page has more on the towns we cover.
